Dr. Grip Frosted explores the idea of a writing instrument being a “delicious indulgence” or a treat. The product features a “frosted” finish on the barrel and comes in a variety of pastel colors. My design concept features swirls of colors that mimic the frosting of a cake or a fleur-de-lis, a symbol often used in pastry shops. This was not the final design to move forward into the consumer space.
